AVADE training schedule released for Southern Illinois

AVADE training educates staff in dealing with violence and aggression in the workplace. Staff trained in the AVADE programs will experience the most effective, realistic, and relevant de-escalation techniques and violence prevention methods available. All patient-facing team members excluding providers are required to take Level 2 training.
LEVEL 2 training:

Level 2 is required for all patient-facing staff. Providers are excluded from this requirement in 2024.

LEVEL 3 training:

Level 3 is only for staff in Behavioral Health, ED, Security, and those serving on code/response teams.
