Call for award nominations and best practice submissions

Our annual voluntary systemwide Virtual SSM Health Symposium: Celebrating Clinical and Operational Excellence will be held August 28 from 8:30 am to noon. This event brings together teams from across SSM Health to explore value-based care, share best practices and recognize clinicians and operational team members who have provided high quality services and compassionate care over the past year. We hope you’ll join us for a day of learning and connecting with others as an integrated, clinically driven health delivery system.
Clinical and Operational Award Nominations – Due date May 31
At the Symposium, we will showcase SSM Health team members who have exemplified our SSM Health Mission, Vision and Values over the past year. Click here to nominate a team member to receive a prestigious award in one of the following categories. There will be one winner in each category per region.

Call for Best Practice Abstracts and Poster Displays - Due June 14
We invite you to submit a brief abstract of the work you or your team completed that developed or advanced clinical or operational best practices this past year. Winners will be selected for six verbal presentations and 10 for physical posters/displays will be featured at the Symposium.

- Advanced Practice Provider of the Year
- Clinical Support of the Year (roles that directly support patient care in any clinical setting, such as lab, medical assistant, pharmacy, radiology, therapists, etc.)
- Nurse of the Year (RN, LPN)
- Operational Support of the Year (environmental services, food services, hospital and medical group leaders, security, etc.)
- Physician of the Year
- Shared Services Support of the Year (administrative, finance, mission, risk, supply chain, etc.
- New this year - Systemwide award - Team of the Year (clinical, operational or a combination; single or multi-regions.)

- How has this person exemplified our SSM Health Mission, Vision and Values to care for and support our colleagues, patients, families and/or community?
- How has this person inspired and encouraged you with their example over the past year?
